Uncle Jesse is my Great Uncle – my grandmother’s brother. He never married or had children of his own and has always treated us like we were his grandchildren. Growing up, I actually spent more time with him than I did with my grandparents. He’s always been an important person in my life.
Uncle Jesse just turned 85 years old and we celebrated his birthday over the weekend. He has had some health problems recently and believes that this will be his last birthday. We’re believing differently!
