We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving at my grandmother’s house with the whole family. Now we’re in the Christmas spirit!
Zach had an early Christmas surprise this year. Since our White German Shepherd died recently, he has been saying he wanted a Husky. He’s wanted one since he was a little boy. We wanted to be able to surprise him with one on Christmas morning, but that was going to be hard to do since he wanted a young dog instead of a puppy. If we had bought a puppy from a breeder they would have held it for us until Christmas, but we didn’t have anyone to care for an adult dog until Christmas. With that being the case, Zach got his dog early! It’s a beautiful male Husky who had been dropped off at the home of a family that helps with Husky rescues. They didn’t leave any kind of information about the dog, so we don’t know his name or age or anything about him. He has been with us for 2 days now and has been an excellent dog. We think he’s going to make a great pet.
Today we went to the Christmas tree farm and got our tree. We brought it home and decorated it and part of the house. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!
