Monday Meanderings



1. Bible Study/Devotions - My goal is to read the Bible for 30 minutes each morning followed by 30 minutes of scripture memory work and a 30-60 minute prayer walk. I also plan to read the Bible for 30 minutes each night. As a family we will read a Psalm and Proverb at breakfast, a chapter or 2 from the Old Testament at lunch and 1 or 2 chapters from the New Testament at dinner.


2. Must Do-
a. Exercise more
b. Drink enough water
c. Get to bed earlier


3. Zone - I am in the dining room this week. I need to:

1. Clean the cobwebs
2. Dust window sills
3. Clean the window
4. Clean doors of china cabinet.
5. Clean and straighten books
6. Clean off top of Dining table and Polish
7. Dust the bottoms of the chairs.
8. Dust the baseboards


4. Train Them Up - We will be returning to our lessons this week. Jaybird will be studying about Winter woods and animals. Night Owl's major focus will be on Bible studies.



5. Menu Plan




Monday -

Breakfast - oatmeal and raisins

Snack - almonds and grape juice

Lunch - Tuna sandwiches

Tea - cheese and crackers

Dinner - pizza

Tuesday -

Breakfast - grits

Snack - fruit

Lunch - ham, turnips, black eyed peas, cornbread

Tea - peanut butter toast

Dinner - leftovers

Wednesday -

Breakfast - cheese toast

Snack - yogurt

Lunch - egg sandwiches, fruit

Tea - nachos

Dinner - grilled cheese, tomato soup

Thursday -

Breakfast - biscuits and eggs

Snack - yogurt pops

Lunch - black bean burritos and salad

Tea - celery with peanut butter

Dinner - chicken noodle soup, sandwich

Friday -

Breakfast - muffins

Snack - apple sauce

Lunch - raviolli and salad

Tea - fruit and nuts

Dinner - chili and cornbread

6. Prayer Request - We have had rain for weeks now so My Beloved's business has been shut down. We're praying that his business will be back up and going and that we'll have steady income throughout the winter.

  1. I really do need to get back into the habit of memorizing Scripture verses. Maybe that's something I can shoot for in this new year!
